The wraps and rolls, are interesting streetfood one can pick up from any roadside corner, but if stand alone fine-dining restaurants also start serving them, it will an added attraction for the visitors.
Brewmaster, in Moments Mall, Kirti Nagar, a fining dining place which has live singing and pleasant decor, presently has a wrap festival
with a twist. The twist is in the form of frappes that are on offer as part of the wrap fest.
The seekh kabab rolls, the Mexican fajitas (made with chicken sausages), rumali rolls with chicken tikkas are some of the things on offer. As you have the option of combining your rolls with frappes on offer, we tried the dark chocolate frappe. It went very well with the spicy taste of the chicken tikka rolls. The offering among other includes classics like Pita Pocketer (Chicken Sprig/Falafel served with Tahini and Humus). According to the chef Sanjeev Sharma, “This festival would allow us to offer something different and off beat to our guests. Besides a large number of youngsters visit coffee shops for these specialities, and the idea is to cater
to them as well.”
Besides the ongoing wrap fest(it is on till November 30) the place serves an impressive array of preparations that has elements of North Indian, south Indian, Pan Asian and Continental cuisine. The seafood preparation at the joint is good too and so are the well known kebabs such as Amritsari fish or mutton seekhs. The place also serves a big portion, so you better work up a good appetite before you order something.
The dessert section is equally interesting. It has besides tiramisu and phirni, ann innovative preparation called baked yogurt. It has a smooth texture, is barely sweet and carries a yogurt feel-surely a nice way to wrap up the meal.
